[Avid-L2] Offline Relinking

So,

I may have gotten myself into a situation.

Been cutting a 30 minute show, thinking delivery

would be 720.  Majority of clips are now transcoded.

Most original links are gone, but of course

the camera originals are still here.

This has dragged off and on for years,

not sure why I chose to trash the links.

If I/future online editor need to relink for 1080 delivery,

is there 'a way back'?

I was told years ago that broadcast in the US

was actually 720. not 1080.  Delivery specs for this outlet

say 1080.  Is this/was this never the case,

720 vs. 1080 in the USA?

If relink is not possible, 

then I suppose blowing up to 1080

is the only option.  Not ideal,

but an option.
