[Avid-L2] Re: Dnx- io

 

As a rackmount unit with a 1080 front panel display, it will be interesting to see the form-factor of this product.  I imagine it must look a bit like Blackmagic's SmartView.

Also quite interesting that it works with Resolve.  That's a first.

They don't say it is made by Blackmagic -- but they do say it "includes hardware by Blackmagic".

I doubt Avid will worry much about the bugginess of an old version. That's the whole point of new versions - introduce new features and fix bugs.


When I used 7.0x I did not experience this. Certainly nothing as extreme as black bins.
