Re: [Avid-L2] moving Marquee files to non marquee system

Katie, Are you sure Marquee isn't there. You might have just set Title
Tool as your default and turned off the little window that invites you
to promote your titles. With your settings that way, Marquee is out of
sight and out of mind. --J.B.

It gets installed by default.  You would have to explicitly delete it.

If I had to do it again on a Mac running OS 10.8 and higher, I would use EditReady. The "pass through" rewrap to MOV is fast and seems to make the a7s' MP4 recordings AMA-friendly.

Re: [Avid-L2] moving Marquee files to non marquee system

Avid systems have include Marquee for over a decade.  How can this system not have Marquee?

Hi, all, I am working on a project that due to burst water pipes, I have to move to a different location.  I have several Marquee graphics in the timeline.  I can render them before doing a consolidation, but I am moving them to a system that does not have Marquee.  I still need to edit on layers below the graphics after I move the project.  My question is this.  Will I be able to rerender the Marquee files after editing, or do I need to export sequences with alphas from Marquee and bring them in as movies into my project after transferring.  I am not anticipating editing the graphics themselves, just the video tracks below them, so if that's my only option it will work.

Thanks for insights, as always

From what I gather the year end upgrade sale went well.
