Re: [Avid-L2] Removing Color encoding

I believe that option is new in 8.4 and is in the refresh sequence menu.

If you're running 8.x, I think there was something in a recent set of release notes about being able to remove LUTs directly from a sequence.

10.10.3 update is here:

Not sure of what version it requires nor how to get there.

Nugen for me too.
I stopped worrying about audio a long time ago - just use the very

Re: [Avid-L2] Downgrade From OS X 1010.4 to 10.10.3

And a follow-up question, if you don't mind… these "Updates", these are also the entirety of the OS, not merely some partial patch? In other words, it seems like I should likely use the 'Combo' update, and not merely the Update, is this correct?

Thanks,

Thanks, Steve. To be clear, assuming I've fully backed up my current hard drive (apps, files, etc.), I'll then be able to restore my apps and data onto the new OS 10.10.3?

Re: [Avid-L2] "AMA" error on export

Still, it would be quick to mixdown your audio.  To be really sure there's nothing strange in your sequence I would make a copy that has only the mixdown tracks in it and see if you can export that.

The really bizarre thing is that I did a shorter cut copied from the same sequence, and that exports fine.

There was no AMA linked media in the original sequence - and certainly
the mixdown would have created new DNxHD media. Anyone have any ideas
as to what the heck is happening?

[Avid-L2] Re: Downgrade From OS X 1010.4 to 10.10.3

Pacifist use to work but it was always iffy at best from what I've heard.  I never used it.  Perhaps in you case it's a complete wipe and clean install if the firmware allows for it.

The 'QT' part of the command stands for Quicktime. Op1A MXF is not Quicktime.
8.4 lets you interpret source speed in the source settings.

Can't confirm, but would recommend you also check out the Nugen ISL. Does multichannel, where the Massey is mono or stereo.

Again on the same page: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/user_guide/Avid-ISIS-4-7-Documentation

This details the Client Compatibility: http://resources.avid.com/SupportFiles/attach/Client_Compatibility.pdf

4.0.0 is a very old version, I strongly suggest upgrading the system director. The path is detailed on page 14 of the readme: http://resources.avid.com/SupportFiles/attach/AvidISIS_ReadMe_v4_7_5.pdf
