Terry, are you no longer part of the ACA?

Here's the problem Nigel, Avid's long standing model of deliver a feature 80% done and leave it at that. The platform is rife with examples of this. And it's not just the small users this happens to. When I sat in on the "ACA Executive Board" two years ago what I heard from everyone else on that board is that they had features that Avid sold them but never finished. This was Disney, Fox, NBC, ZDF German TV, etc.
"Not that I'm in any way condoning the bizarre pay structure but I would have said recently there have been a lot of improvements and they seem to be pretty fast..
Move from HD to 2K/4K and the rest, more audio tracks background rendering etc. DPP delivery, more files in and out DPX , LUT's colour stuff…. You could argue long overdue and more to go but I'd say there have been a lot of improvements and a much faster pace of change..

That sure seems like what's happening after recent posts of various execs seemingly high compensation while Avid customers are left with very little improvements to the core product. Sure seems like Greed isn't all it's cracked up to be despite what sounds good in a movie line.

It's part of the "take money from the company for the execs" approach to bleed it dry and then they will move on. The sooner that happens the better. Then we can hope someone who wants to improve the product buys the company.

It should be clear by now that the color correction tool will never be upgraded.

Nobody discuss that. We're talking about color correction tool in Symphony. Improvements like mask and tracking are so need it in today's work.
