Hi Nick:
I haven't been working with XDCam material, so can't address that
detail.
The Mac I've been working on with this R3D material also has 12GB
RAM, but Avid only gets 2 GB max as I understand it, and the percentage
memory reported used can climb pretty quickly. I try to restart
whenever I notice it's gone above 80%.
