Have you tried the highest rated email app?
With 4.5 stars in iTunes, the Yahoo Mail app is the highest rated email app on the market. What are you waiting for? Now you can access all your inboxes (Gmail, Outlook, AOL and more) in one place. Never delete an email again with 1000GB of free cloud storage.

this is the Avid-L2

[Avid-L2] Re: OT: A Sad Day for tape

QCing the file isn't the issue.  Fixing the file is.  I know that Cinedeck and the software version can do that but so far everywhere I work fixing the file means a full export of the file again after the QC fix.  While Cinedeck offers that ability I don't have one yet and even if I did it's not quite a deck replacement, but certainly is close.  If it offered a real confidence playback without the work arounds I've been told about then it would be a seamless transition.  Unfortunately even though I know full well a Cinedeck would pay for itself fairly quickly the bean counter squad thinks anyone can export a file and the time it takes to do so doesn't cost any real money.  Short sided in my opinion but a reality.

At least you didn't pay for yours, john.

I've got a whole machine room I haven't bothered to reconfigure as we don't have use for the space.  It used to be part of the tour- now it just makes me feel old.

I probably could of made a higher pay off investing in blackjack than HDCam SR.

Marketplace? It's sort of a web browser in an Avid window, maybe that's it.  Perhaps permissions are messed up where it needs to write cookies.

I can't find any reference to that error message using google. Any ideas?

(It's version 7 before that app manager program got involved, so it is something in Media Composer itself)

I find that, even after I changed the nVidia driver to the current web driver (I'm a Mac user) I still get regular periodic 'vaporize' crashes, and/or beach-ball lock-ups. This doesn't happen once an effect is rendered. After a few crashes, I typically have to reboot the system to get proper performance.

Just curious if anyone else is seeing this or if it's unique to my configuration.
