So,
I have a large project, by necessityspread over multiple drives.I suspect there may be some duplicates.Lotsa copying, moving around and backing up.I would like to free some space.
I understand MDV used to do that, but apparently no longer.
Can Media Tool identify dupesand allow for deletion?
Researching online I am led to believe so,but would like confirmation from heavy users.
Thanks.

I, personally, don't have any idea how to update your installed AE-version to the latest available version. However, fwik, some Installers, even on Adobe's side, only are working on 32-bit OS-systems. Since in the blur I read your are running High Sierra (10.13.x) you are on a 64-bit system. Well, anyway, down to the real reason for the post. I'm reinstalling everything and I reinstall my copy of CS6 Production on there. When having to do this in the past all the updates were taken care of via Adobe Manager and then Creative Cloud scan the apps and saying 'hey, you need some updates, click here to run the updates'. I would click and it would update the software. Well, I guess CS6 is so far out of support that Adobe has pulled all the updaters so now I can't update CS6. And now After Effects is stuck at v11 that won't open in OSX 10.13.6. I need to upgrade After Effects to v11.0.4, but I don't have the updater to do that. I've done a little looking on-line but have not found one. Everything seems to lead to getting a new CC account. Which I may have to finally do, even tough CS6 does everything I need it to.
So the big question is does anyone know where to acquire a CS6 updater or After Effects v11 > v11.0.4 updater(s)?
Thank you,

You can't use this version of the application "Adobe After Effects CS6" with this version of macOS.
You have "Adobe After Effects CS6" 11.0.

I don't know why, but that's what it's telling me. I can copy over the v11.0.4 app from my TimeMachine back up and it will start up, but it throws a bunch of errors not being able to connect to some of the application support files that I'm guessing the CS6 updater would install.

No need to re-ingest.Select the clip(s) in the bin > Right-click > Modify > Set Multichannel audio as desired. If you Duplicate a clip (Cmd/Ctrl + D) you can have one set as Dual Mono and the other as Stereo. . . . I'm not sure of a use case for that — maybe testing — but it's possible.HTH,-BOn May 3, 2021, at 10:26 PM, Dave Hogan via groups.io <mactvman=yahoo.com@groups.io> wrote:Depending on how you bring in a clip, it can be multiple mono tracks, or various types of multi tracks (like stereo or 5.1, etc) that look like a single track. You can only patch audio to a similarly formatted track in your timeline.
