RE: Re: [Avid-L2] Another file transfer service

WeTransfer, SugarSync, DropBox, Adobe CC, Google Drive. All work fine. Depends on if you need R&A annotation. A shop I work with invested in Axle and put it on their server, which is outward facing to the internet. They can post local files for R&A, send the client a URL and the client can log right in and add time-code-based comments. These in turn can be imported via XML to PPro, FCP, FCP X.

Re: [Avid-L2] Another file transfer service

For review I was using xprove.com but have recently switched to arc9.com

Their annotate tools are much better letting clients draw on screen add text etc.

[Avid-L2] RE: sequence info issue with mixed frame rates

I have seen this in the past. If I would take a 23.976 sequence and open in a 59.94 the timing would be off. For a 30 sec spot it would read 37 sec or so.

It turns out that it was a fade to black on the last shot of the sequence. I trimmed it back, re-did the fade and it all plays back OK now.

But the I still get an error message when I try to open a bin file from the attic.  That scares me.

Any helpful hints on that?

I ran that command, but I ran it after I had solved the original problem so I don't know if that worked or not.
