Yoiu might check with the Sony Broadcast Service hotline that can help with operations questions of broadcast equipment. Perhaps it's a moot point if they've discontinued service, which I don't understand. Will they no longer fix PVM-20 L5s? I haven't looked into that as I don't have any.

If nothing else maybe they can point you in a direction. I forget when I got my 2541 but I think it was around 2011. Seems like that should still be serviceable. Isn't it something like at least 7 years of manufacturer service availability on big ticket items. Maybe I'm wrong on that.
