Re: [Avid-L2] Opening /Copying User Settings

Keyboard settings can not be made into Site Settings (for obvious reasons). Could you imagine walking into a facility where someone had made their keyboard setting a site setting? There would be riots.

Seems like you got it sorted out, my method has always been

1. Create User Profile
2. Then, while in the Settings window, go to File > Open Settings File
3. Open my old user setting file, (that's when you get the little window with all of your old settings)
4. Drag and drop the tough to recreate ones (ie, keyboard) into the settings window and I always choose "add", never "replace".
