That script is new to me, but yes, it appears that it will patch the drivers when appropriate. That patch (which is not described) can be done manually, but this script seem to have made the manual process unnecessary.
The bigger issue is that Apple and nVidia are estranged and headed for divorce, and there will likely be no nVidia or Cuda drivers for Mojave or Catalina. In general, I've learned that fighting Apple is not worth it, and I'm transitioning to AMD in my classic Mac Pros. They will not last much longer anyway. Even with processor and graphic upgrades, the old Xeon architecture lacks the video acceleration of the new Intel CPUs, and that makes a world of difference.
Unless I convert to windows, the future is AMD.
Cheers,

I think I will do the 2019-003 Security update, and try the matching set of Nvidia drivers, when I can afford the downtime.Perhaps the fix you were thinking of is the one provided by this script on GitHub:Among other things, it will allow you to install whatever web-driver package you want, and it patches the driver file to permit the installation.I used it to install an older version of the web driver, and it did work, but didn't get me to my ultimate destination...Thanks,--Michael
