Avid is too smart sometimes. If you add a tape name to a file source Avid assumes it must now have come from tape snd removes the source name and source path. As they are incompatible with a tape source. Thats why we use tge Tape ID field instead. Don't put a tape name entry in for a file source. Bullet proof is retained.
