I'm sure Walter is a good editor and a prolific blog writer but in just a few months in 2012 he jumped from final cut to smoke to premiere to avid and then I stopped reading.
There's lots to love about resolve as a conform tool and grading system and they will make it into an awesome editor and vfx hub but it's not an avid replacement yet. But neither is premiere light works or anything else. Bmd are the most innovative company in our industry so if you have to back a new option then resolve is obviously the one to watch but make your own mind up by trying it don't trust any self promotional blog.
