Re: [Avid-L2] Audio channels

If consolidate/transcode is required there's another option, which comes in handy later on along the way for viewing, and/or making selects: after import or AMA linking select all the clips in the bin, ALT-drag them to the timeline, this will create a new sequence with all the clips in the same order as they appear in the bin (You can arrange them the way You like first), delete the unwanted audio tracks and consolidate the sequence, You'll end up with .new.01 clips with the chosen audio tracks only. This will work best with imported and untouched clips, since there are no in/out marks and the blue bar is parked at the beginning of the clips, if You happened to play the clips entering marks switch the bin to script view, select all clips, using the keyboard clear marks and go to head, or just mark I/O for the full lenght of the clips before splicing them to the timeline. Be aware that if there's no sequence loaded in the Composer a new one will be created, while if a sequence is loaded the dragged clips will be added to that one.
