Things were added to the bin / database structure in version 7.

There are maintenance releases of 6.5, (and I think 6 and 5.5) that allow the user to open bins from v7. Those versions 'strip off' the new material and ignore it. So, your client would need to upgrade to that new maintenance release (no cost) or you could install it somewhere, and use it to open your bins from 7 in order to "wash them," then re save them for 6.5.
