RE: [Avid-L2] C300 and AMA

Try selecting the codec manually in the AMA link window. Seems to be an
issue with 7.x.

Subject: [Avid-L2] C300 and AMA

OK, missing something. I am trying to AMA link some C300 footage. The actual
MXF files are buried several folders deep in the camera card folder
structure. The only way I can import or AMA Link any of the files is to
drill down to each individual file. I am unable to link the whole top-level
"contents" folder.

When I try to run the recommended Avid AMA MXF plug-in installer, it says
it's only good for Avid 6.5 or lower. The C300 footage imports just fine
with FCP X, Resolve and Premiere Pro CC. Individual files import and AMA
link fine in MC, so the codec plug-in is correct.

This is on OSX 10.9.2 (yes, I know, not supported), MC 7.0.3.

Thoughts?
