Another pair of Gotchas,
(from memory, did partial restore on these files some time ago, but that was for Avid 5.5)
If the CIF files (open them with a HEX editor) do not match the actual content, Avid won't link.
If the cards have spanned files, they MUST be next to each other. (But i forgot how the relation should be, i know it was one level other than one might expect)
The CIF files can be repaired, i can alter them to match the content, but perhaps the Canon viewer might do the same.
