I just finished a series on Resolve & Isis. I had no throughput issues with Isis and playback.
But the prep to send a sequence to Resolve is like sending one to Color from FCP. It's gotta be stripped
of extra stuff. Effects play as cuts but they come right back in place after the round trip to Symphony.
Together they work great but to output from Resolve is not something I wanted to do sine I have the Symphony
right next to it.
P.S. I did not have to do much for re-conform on the show. So I can't say how I would like it if I was getting
"soft locks"...I'd probably stick to Symphony.
