My circumstances match what you describe. Strange but misery loves company:)
I should add this from the Console I just happened upon… (repeated ad nauseum)
"AMA: Unlinked RR207001 due to missing file on disk"
no files were deleted or moved, directory corruption? I dread thinking about it.
The AMA linkage now seems so tenuous
