I was trying this but it effects all of the layers below not just the top video layer
(as it would if I dragged the effects onto the clip itself).
The effect i'm going for is a film (Track V2) projected onto a shot with a screen (Track V1)
I'm using Sapphire Film Damage, Sapphire Flicker, Color Effect, then re-sized and re-positioned with 3D Warp.
If I did it as you suggest both V1 and V2 are effected whereas if I place the filters on the clip on V2 track V1 is unaffected. Maybe I'm missing something?
