Follow the previous steps.
Step inside the PIP (or whatever you are using to superimpose on V1) effect on the shot on V2.
Create a new video track above the existing tracks inside the PIP effect.
Cut the effects stack into that track.
Now it will effect only what is being keyed in over the lower tracks.
