If you transcode, you can do an export Same as Source. This will preserve
source timecode. If you choose not to transcode first, you can export
QuickTime Movie with ProRes settings.
However, either way you export, you will only get two channels of audio. If
your XDCAM source has more, they'll either be left out or mixed in.
Alternatively, you can use Content Browser (from Sony's XDCAM site) to
rewrap the XDCAM MXFs to XDCAM MOVs. Then use Compressor to transcode to
ProRes, with audio set to Pass Through to preserve multiple audio channels.
