Re: [Avid-L2] transcoding

 

Not sure how old the version of Premiere is, but it has to be pretty old if
it does not support XDcam.
(perhaps with a Sony download needed...)
High speed, no quality loss, smaller files.
Even with an upgrade to a more recent version of PP it's worth it.
(But sadly that puts the money in his pocket, not yours, so it might be wise
to shut up about this and just do / bill what you've been asked. In that
case Mark is very right.)
