I've passed that on. Should be made very clear, IMO.

This has to do with the fact that you would not be able to relink between clips with Tape name entries and clips with Source File entries. But even that is no longer true.

Yes, AMA is not for audio files. They might sometimes seem to work due to the fact that the QT plugin lets you handle these files, but it just shouldn't be done, as AMA is not designed to handle it. If at some point they were to include an AMA plugin for audio, that would be different. Currently, AMA is geared towards camera source files and QT files.
