Re: [This IS the Avid L2] New comment on [Avid-L2] Applying an effect to more than one clip.... - NOW no Command key modifier necessary

Ah, but I don't need to hold down any key modifier, either in MC 5.5.3, which I have at home, or Symphony 6.3 which I'm running at work. I wonder why this is so? I even noticed just now that when I lassoed one of the "Not-So-Smart-Tools" segment modes lit up, and still I had no problem.

BINGO!!!

We have a THIRD winner to the question:

Bt COMMAND double clicking the effects icon in the bin while the effects mode is
OFF works too.

Who knew?

Avid sure gives us plenty to work with.

Ask and you shall receive (from the Avid-L2).

Thanks a bunch to everybody.

apply the effect to (or select them by using the red arrow). Then hold the Ctrl
key down while double clicking on the desired effect. That will apply the effect
to each of the selected clips. If you hold the Alt key down while double
clicking, that will sub-clip your selected clips and apply the effect to your
selection as one big clip. Hope that helps.
