Do you get any error messages? If so, what are they?

It's 4 hours long, all in one sequence? Does breaking it into sections allow export?

Are you mixing formats or have any AMA'd files?

Here's one thought (and I'm sure other on the list will have others):
Select the entire sequence and all the video tracks, then perform a Video Mixdown (Special menu).
You'll edit the resulting file onto a new video track.
Then when you go to export, make that the only active video track (and be sure to activate all your audio tracks too).
In the export settings, enable the selection about using only "active tracks."

^^ Before you do the whole show, test this with a small portion and see if it allows the export.
