I don't know. That short dude in that Minority Report doc seemed
like he'd be pretty fast on a touch screen editor...
I was at an Avid presentation on Wed about MC 6. The presenter
noted that while older editors are keyboard oriented, Avid is
finding that younger editors reach much more for the mouse.
I would think in a few years even younger editors will be very
touchy...

While the new UI ideas stems from small, touch screen design, and
facilitates such interaction, that does not necessarily mean the
converse is true, the the new UI does not somehow diminish
keyboard/mouse interaction. Do you see anything in FCP X that

The idea that anyone could do serious work using a touchscreen
interface
is patently absurd. I don't think anyone in the UI business, even

who live in the reality distortion field, would suggest
