We are upgrading 4 MC workstations from Adrenaline to 5.5 w/ DX Nitris. 2.66 Westmere 12-core. Also looking to add FCP and Premiere. I would appreciate feedback on the following:
1-Planning separate boot drives...Avid on one, FCP and Premiere on the other drive.
2-Looking at AJA-IoExpress for FCP and Premire...any conflict with DX Nitris hardware-cards-drivers?
3-Is there a better option for FCP/Premiere I/O? Mainly looking at tapeless workflow here and need for Client Monitor display...but tape may be involved on occasion. Avid more often involved with tape in addition to tapeless.
3-ATI Radeon 5770...OK with all 3 NLE?
