Do you seriously see any big shift of new users to Avid other than converting former Liquid users? I think international enterprise customers are a solid growth market for Avid. In the US, Europe and Australia, all I see is selling to existing customers. Granted, my view is pretty narrow, but if we are talking about new users to video, then clearly the market is still FCP's with growing interest in Premiere Pro.
