No it does not. I believe that you can add a helper app in the
preferences though. ChronoSync just compares two folders contents and
then copies and/or deletes files as necessary based on criteria that
you set. Mirroring directionally. Differential update, add only or
add and delete. With custom rules and exclusions and archiving.
Etc. It's a nice app for cheep.

I use it on the FCP system to keep a copy of the project directory on
the network so if the internal drive dies I still have all the Final
Cut project files.

I use it on the Avid by having a large slow firewire drive attached to
one workstation that at night does a backup of the the media on the
Unity SAN so if it were to die I wouldn't have to re-digitize the
whole show, just copy the media back.
