[Avid-L2] MC5 25P in 30i project

Hello,

I am getting a lot of conflicting opinions on this and would really appreciate the L experts to clarify it for me once and for all:

Can I edit 1080 25P into a 30i timeline in MC5? This is for offline only. If the answer is yes, what is my workflow for online? Can I send my project to a Symphony or Nitris and still mix the framerates, allowing Avid to do the framerate conversion before outputting to tape? Or do I have to bite the bullet and get 12 hours of 25P converted now before ingest?
