yes you can mix it and then follow the same workflow for uprez at the end.
What you do id open a 25P project to capture your material. Then open those bins in a 30i project and cut away. Avid automatically adds a motion effect to the clip when you cut it into the timeline.
Since you are going from 25P to 30i, it should look fine. Sort of like a film Xfer.
