I accept the non tape source point.
I think I was trying to say that 2 decades of video editing
(1968-1988) threw up a lot of questions that got answered in the
linear world.
The moment I saw AVR25, I knew that MC would go online, and all the
grading, DVE, keying,
Titling,and Video Fx that we took for granted in a digibeta suite,
would have to be matched in NLE's.
Some may say we are still waiting for the RT power of a $1m dollar
suite, but we only want to spend $3k on it . . . .
