Re: [Avid-L2] OT: AfterEffects and FCP

Sounds to me like that's exactly what Motion is for. Set up a template in Motion, fill in text in in FCP, render, output. Rendering in the newer versions of the software seem to be less prohibitive than they used to be.

Other than that, and the QT with alpha that you suggested, they could look into the XML to Premiere to AE route.
