Stuart,

I have done it this way several times with great success:

FCP>Duck>AAF (no media creation needed)

AAF>MC>AFE (no media creation needed)

AFE>DS

Capture RED

Though I could likely skip the whole MC step, t worked for me in the past so
I keep doing it...
