Never had anything but 1080i tapes before now so I don't even know if this deck should be able to play the tape. The tape is labeled 1080 24p but I'm not getting any audio. The pictures look perfect. The deck display indicates 59.94 then after the SDI field I've got 23Hz>>1080 followed by 2F. The COND is green but no audio. I've poured over the manual but can't find any settings for 24p. Am I missing something or is this deck incapable of playing the tape? Or perhaps the tape just doesn't have any audio recorded on it? Since it's a concert it will be pretty boring without sound!
