I use Sound Device's Wave Agent (free) to restamp the 48kHz files as 47.952 then Avid do the conversion upon import with conversion set to high quality. Just remember that the rate is 48kHz when recording. but you have to think in reverser if your files are already 48kHz and stamp them as 47.952.

Wave Agent is a great app for the toolkit to always have on hand - available for Mac and Windows.
