Wave Agent is a great app for the toolkit to always have on hand - available for Mac and Windows.

In the case of my current project, a handheld Zoom recorder was used and files were stereo 16-bit/48k WAV. I ran the files through a preset I created in Episode to convert these to 16-bit/48k AIF with a .999 speed adjustment baked in. About 2 min. to process about an 1 hr 10 min. of raw audio.
