[Avid-L2] Re: OT: Canon 5D 24p firmware, WARNING

OK - did not have any 5D 30.00fps files on hand, but I did have some 7D files - and while these are already at the fractional rate, I wanted to test whether QTChange affected the way MC interprets a file. And the answer is "yes". An original 720p/59.94 files in a 720p/59.94 project imports with a duration of 10:01. When setting the QT via QTChange to 29.97, the result is a 20:02 file. When changing it to 10, the result is a 02:00:08. While the latter seems like an interesting way to create slomo, it is quite steppy as it is doing it frame based. Best used for frame for frame. I take same 720p/59.94 file, use QTChange to interpret as 23.976 and get a nice 2.5x slomo in a 720p/23.976 project.
