2 different issues, we want to debayer on the fly no rendering
involved. we only render to ProRez as a work around till the SDK is in
place.

ProRez rendering using the RR card is around 30 frames per second. But
they are both baked in. We want to get back easily to COLOR and grade
using the RAW files.

Different strokes for different folks. If we go to a chemical out, its
a different grade to DCI standard anyway, and depending on budget we
could well go to Scratch. Da Vinci becomes interesting now that Grant
Petty has his talented hands on it, I would keep my eye on
developments at BMD more than Scratch. Do I hear Da Vinci lite bundled
with a BMD card, that would put a shot across RED's bows and protect
BMD's market at the same time.
