What aspect of ProRes files doesn't let the ProRes files copy when making an AAF? Is there an Avid person that can clarify this apparent shortcoming? Could this be some sort of legacy flaw related to the time when ProRes wasn't a native codec? I'd be interested to know a bit more about what's happening under the hood. I've found Resolve tends to add tape names to exported clips which can cause problems if one tries to relink back to ama linked masters. That may be of no concern in your workflow.
