I see that now that I have CC subscription my CS6 apps are listed there too alongside the CC apps.  Some of the CS6 apps show there are updates available which makes me wonder if I updated them would they then be a slave to CC subscription from that point on.  Perhaps I could have updated them before installing CC but I didn't check that out.  It's more of a curiosity to me know.  Pulling the plug on the older versions of Adobe have left a bad taste in my mouth.

Time for an OKI Dog cleanse to get rid of the bad taste.  ;-)

I'm pretty sure that only affects subscriptions. Back in the days of CS6 Adobe sold you a perpetual license to use the software, and there isn't really any mechanism for them to come along later and take it away.

Having it installed is breaching their licensing.
2 versions back is all they will authorise going forward.
How good is the current CC in opening a CS6 project?
