I had one of mine repaired and the menus seemed different afterwards- including not being able to find flicker-free. I never use that so I didn't give it much thought.
Nowhere near the monitor now, but I will compare software versions with another that I have...

I own an old Sony PVM-2541 that didn't originally have the Flicker Free mode. Sony added that for free many years ago. I just had the monitor professionally calibrated but the audio sync seems off.
