There are all sorts of cache file in each of these locations, many unrelated to Avid. Is it safe to delete ALL of them, no matter what they are?

Now that I'm on Sierra 10.12.5 there is no longer a repair permissions in disk utility as far as I know. I assume Mac OS 10.11.X still has permission repair but I jumped from 10.9.5 to Sierra so I haven't worked on that OS.
