Just this week I had to get up to speed on this topic with a client.
They're on v8.7 (IIRC). The solution was "Media Reactor Lite" for $99:
The company is in Toronto, and the registration process (to remove the trial watermark and play-length limitation), is not the most user friendly or expedient. I recommend going through the process during business hours, so you can call them if you want/need to.
