Thanks Dom. I restarted and that seem to fix the problem. 

There seem to be a fair number of mysteries associated with Multicam.

Images show up without their source settings color correction though when I match back to the group clip, the correction is there. It is the sort of problem that "refresh sequence" fixes but in this case the Multicam clip is seen as clip and not a sequence. The option is greyed out on the right-click menu...

I think you need to use "swap bank" command during multi cam.
