Re: [Avid-L2] Multiple Identical Media Files

 

I would have to say that this is incorrect. This is based on that once the .pmr and .mdb files are built you can move the directory structure to a different drive with a different name and attach it to a different system and not rebuild the database files and they will work fine. I regularly do this through an automated copy of media, including the database files for the media, from a shared storage ISIS system to a local storage drive on a system at a remote location.
