A client of mine produces a couple of "how to" series for US public TV, and now they want to install shared storage, likely a (Dell/EMC) Isilon SAN:

FYI this client will need high bandwidth (1 to 4 Gbits/sec.) for each of a small number of workstations. Can anybody share their experiences with Isilon servers, good or bad?
Thanks for anything you can tell me! (If you don't want to criticize your client or employer in public, feel free to email me privately.)
