I have never tried rewrapping I admit.
Sony's own format guide for XAVC in AVID recommends transcoding.
Sony references not needing to REWRAP, when using Adobe Premiere also...
Meaning they know what rewrapping is...
Meh, since Bouke has a free trial of MP4 to QT, definitely use it and see
if it works.
I still stand by transcoding to new masters as the best option in the end.
