When I click on the "1" folder in the typical avidmediafiles folder all that shows up in the media browser is the 35-1 video reference mixdown. None of the DNxHRHQC media files show up as a choice. This is with LIte version of 11.3.1. Not sure how I could get media into Resolve if I can't even see it in media tab. Normal HD mxf works as expected.

You are limited to UHD only on the output side or timeline.
You should be able to bring in larger image format, just not to be able to view them over UHD. (Will show Scale down).
You will have to uninstall lite version and install full version.
